Google's $1.1 Billion Deal with HTC

Google and HTC have finally opened up about the all-cash deal worth $1.1 billion. Google is buying parts of HTC, and this Silicon Valley Company is getting some resources from the Taiwan phone maker in return. Google is basically getting the talent pool of HTC, as around 2000 engineers, who are currently work in HTC's Pixel phone division. Apart from these talented engineers, Google is also getting some HTC technologies in a non-exclusive manner. Both, Google and HTC will be using these technologies in their phone models. It is also likely that Google will get access to manufacturing facilities of HTC for phones.
