The technology giant Oracle has come up with its cloud computing service to support the upcoming GST rollout by the government of India. Safra Catz, the CEO of Oracle Open World, is quite excited to see the inclination of Indian government towards technology use.
Oracle is operational in India for many years by providing the database technology, and now it’s ready to increase its reach among prospective technology users in the country. During her last visit to India, Catz met Mr. Narendra Modi to get an idea about what more needs to be done in terms of technology for the citizens of India.
The Oracle’s cloud computing service is likely to make the tax regime in India simpler by assisting in services, such as, statutory reporting and payment processing. It will also provide support for GST network integration.
