With 280-Character Tweets, You Can Say More Now

Brevity has always been the defining character of Twitter with its 140-charatcter limit. But, recently a San Francisco tech company announced that it is soon going to give users the freedom to tweet up to 280 characters. Initially, it will be rolled out to a small number of users. Users who tweet in Japanese, Korean and Chinese languages will continue with the 140-character limit. Twitter believes that in these languages, more can be conveyed in lesser characters. However, by expanding the character limit, Twitter is taking a chance with its loyal users who have come to terms with the character limitation over the time.
